When it was first shown at the 1961 Motor Show, despite its glass-fibre body, the Sabre Six cost as much as a classy Austin-Healy 3000. Perhaps it was the reason why Reliant only sold 55 Sabres in Britain of a total production of 77 cars.
The previous owner of my Sabre Six had done a wonderful job restoring the car to her original glory, the interior is in pristine condition, the paintwork is spotless and the engine runs as smoothly as it should have done the day it left the factory in Tamworth, Staffordshire by 1962.

En su presentación en el Motor Show de 1961, a pesar de su carrocería en fibra de vidrio, el Sabre Six era tan caro como un elegante Austin-Healy 3000. Quizá fue esta la razón que limitó la producción a 77 coches, de los que sólo 55 se vendieron en Gran Bretaña.
El anterior propietario de mi Sabre Six hizo un magnífico trabajo de restauración, devolviendo al coche su impecable aspecto original, el interior está como nuevo, la pintura no tiene ni un rasguño y el motor funciona con tanta suavidad como lo haría el día de 1962 en que salió de fábrica en Tamworth, Staffordshire.
