I love cars and I love graphic representations of them. I spend many time thinking about cars and painting them is as rewarding as owning and driving them and doesn't cost as much!
For me there is as much beauty and integrity in a 2CV or Renault 4 as there is in a 356 or D type and I aim to communicate that in my paintings. I studied illustration and graphic design at Eastbourne College of Art and have been working as a design consultant for the past 20 years.
La pasión de Julian Sutherland-Beatson son los coches y su representación gráfica. Pasa mucho tiempo pensando en los coches y pintándolos, actividad que le recompensa tanto como poseerlos y conducirlos, con la ventaja de que es mucho más barato.
El artista opina que hay tanta belleza e integridad en un 2cv o en un Renault 4 como en un 356 o en un D Type y su objetivo es comunicar esa idea en sus obras. Estudió ilustración y diseño gráfico en el Eastbourne College of Art y ha trabajado como diseñador independiente durante los últimos veinte años.
